‼️$200 for proof of Zeus’s whereabouts today. Have you seen him? If you fostered or adopted him, or if you know something, please reach out!!‼️ Please share this post!
Zeus was “rescued” by Humane Society of the Dunes on February 17, 2020. He was originally at IACS Shelter Rescue Team (formerly called IACS Rescue) and Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) before HSotD pulled him. The founder of the rescue is Jane Hullsiek and the rescue is based out of Chesterton in Northwest Indiana (NWI).
Zeus was “rescue only” at the Indy shelter because x-rays had revealed he had multifocal lumbar spondylosis. He had excessive drooling and some balance issues and needed further diagnostics for possible neurological issues. Zeus was described as strong on leash, friendly, social, and knowing basic commands.
Indy’s Voice 4 Animals had pledged $400 for Zeus to be paid directly to the rescue’s vet when pulled. Two days after he left IACS, Indy’s Voice 4 Animals posted about Zeus on their page as shown in the photos, as they did for a few other IACS animals they donated to Humane Society of the Dunes for around the same time. They stated in their post that Zeus had his first vet visit and was doing well in foster.
Humane Society of the Dunes never posted about Zeus on their Facebook page. No updates from his foster, no photos of him with a family, no fundraisers for his care, nothing.
Once again, there is $200* available for anyone with information about Zeus. He’d be about 9 years old now. The rescue claimed he had a foster and we would really like to find that person. It’s amazing how we continue to reach people who gave animals to Jane through our posts being shared, but have yet to find anyone who adopted or fostered any of these IACS animals.
If you adopted, fostered, or just know what happened to Zeus after he arrived at Humane Society of the Dunes, we would love to speak with you and will pay for the privilege.
