‼️WHERE IS PEARL?‼️
Offering $200 for proof of Pearl’s current whereabouts.
Pearl was originally at Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS) before she was “rescued” by Jane Hullsiek of Humane Society of the Dunes on March 20, 2023. Pearl had just been surrendered to IACS by her owner for having seizures. Jane is a founder of the Humane Society of the Dunes which is based out of Chesterton in Northwest Indiana (NWI).
Pearl went to Humane Society of the Dunes on the same day as a dog named Mila from IACS. Pearl’s photo and bio were never posted by IACS Shelter Rescue Team and we only know she existed because of public records requests to the Indy shelter. She was listed as 8 months old when she was at IACS.
Jane never posted anything about Pearl. No updates on her vet care or medical condition, no fundraisers, no updates from her foster or adopter if she had them. It’s like she ceased to exist publicly after she went to Humane Society of the Dunes.
So where is Pearl now? We continue to hope that the ~110 IACS cats and dogs that ended up with Jane got the medical care they needed, and ended up in loving foster homes and adoptive homes. If you know something about what happened to Pearl, there is $200* available for some answers and your time.
Please share Pearl’s post.
