Tootie was “rescued” by Humane Society of the Dunes in June 2023. She was originally at IACS IACS Shelter Rescue Team (formerly called IACS Rescue) and Indianapolis Animal Care Services before HSotD pulled her. The founder of the rescue is Jane Hullsiek. If you adopted or fostered Tootie for Humane Society of the Dunes, we’d love an update on how she is doing. We are offering $100 for proof of her whereabouts today. If she got the care she needed, she would likely have only one eye now as the IACS shelter vet recommended enucleation of her left eye, which was why she was “rescue only”. Humane Society of the Dunes never posted any updates about Tootie.
