‼️‼️Offering $600 for proof of Hobbes’ whereabouts today‼️‼️

Hobbes was “rescued” by Humane Society of the Dunes on March 27, 2020. He was originally at IACS Rescue and Indianapolis Animal Care Services before HSotD pulled him. The founder of the rescue is Jane Hullsiek. If you adopted or fostered Hobbes for Humane Society of the Dunes, we’d love an update on how he is doing. Please share this post with your friends in NWI. If you have any information on his whereabouts, don’t be shy.

We are offering a $100 gift for proof of Hobbes whereabouts today. An anonymous donor has offered an additional $400 for proof, and another donor has offered $100. If you know where Hobbes is, please reach out.

Hobbes needed rescue because he had medical needs beyond what the IACS shelter could provide. He had a prolapsed rectum that had already been repaired twice but was in danger of it happening again. Hobbes was under a year old when he was pulled, so would be about 5-6 years old now.

Within days of being pulled from IACS, Jane posted a comment on the IACS post about Hobbes’ “freedom ride”, stating Hobbes had had his surgery and was recovering nicely. At this time we aren’t sure why he needed surgery again as his IACS post had stated he had already had surgical repair, although prolapses can recur and need to be repaired again so perhaps he prolapsed again.

If you know where Hobbes is now, there is $600 available for proof.
